I had figured out how to make rounded corner shelves cheaply, and, here is the part that had me giving myself a big hearty pat on my own back, without any need of fancy power tools.

This is a simple wall-mounted corner cupboard. The carcass is 3/4 inch birch plywood. The trim is 5/8 inch thick cherry. Over the years, I have constructed a number of cherry/birch and cherry/maple projects in the house. We like the look of the contrasting colours of these wood species.

Building the upper cabinet is pretty much a repeat of what you did on the lower cabinet. It is taller, so some of the dimensions will change, but the joinery and techniques are the same. The cutting diagrams and materials list are available to download in this Online Extra.
