Specifically created to be our lightest Martin House yet. Light enough that the mounting pole can be made out of a piece of 1-inch pipe. Front boards may easily separate using turn buttons so you can check nests or clean cavities while atop a ladder. Dividers lift out, making yearly cleaning simple. The 5-1/2 x 11 inch cavity size, the 2-1/4 inch hole diameter, the balconies for fledglings, and the superb ventilation are all included. Using 1/4 and 3/8 inch thick plywood and some 3/4 inch thick hardwood, this house may be constructed for a very low cost. Its finished dimensions are 26 x 26 x 20 inches high.
