Our Maritime Side-by-Each chairs is a fun play on words for these traditional side-by-side Adirondack style chairs. Our full size drawings and instructions show you how to build the adirondack chair. Then simply build another one for the other side, no difference except for the armrest position. Then join them up at an angle like shown, or have them along side each other in a straight line. We also offer two versions of the chair back in this plan, straight across or an arched design.

We have taken our Maritime Adirondack Chair and made it half as wide again and used thicker material for the structure, making it a comfortable 36 inch wide seat. We include the footstool plan (you can use the same drawings to build a table), rocker blades if you want that option, and as a bonus, the parts to allow you to add an umbrella to stand at the back of your chair for that perfect shade. A design that is long overdue. As if Adirondack style chairs were not already comfortable, these new design features a built in footrest. The footrest slides out from its storage space under the seat. The legs can swing down to provide support.
