As in the other designs of this series, distinctive features of the country are introduced. In the New Zealand frame herewith, we have a background containing a very distinct outline of the North and South Islands, in which the various counties are marked off. The fretwork holding this chart together is composed of creeping clematis, a flower which ranks as one of the favourites in New Zealand. Then as an overlay we have the kiwi, which is indeed a feature which could not be introduced into any other countryâs characteristics.
