What can be a better toy for a child than a colorful set of wooden letters? This is a simple, fun and very satisfying project. You can complete an entire alphabet or just create a smaller set of letters that spells something significant like the childs name.
This project is pretty involved but as you can see from the picture it is very rewarding. This waterwheel is 5 1/2 feet in diameter and 12 inches wide. It is only ornamental and does not grind grain or generate any power.
I have a thing for watches, and nicely figured wood, sadly I have only been able to find a couple of wood based watches. It sounded like a lovely weekend project to fab up a new face for a regular watch, so I went for it.
This medium-size wishing well stands approximately 1400mm (4 ft-8 inches) high and 600mm (2ft) wide. It is a cross between a small planter and a full-size wishing well, and can be used either as a planter box or a garden ornament.
