WOOD magazine's Editorial Process Updated on April 9, 2024 Mount drawer pulls in a jiffy by taking a few minutes to build this jig. With it, you can shave lots of time off the task of drilling drawer-pull mounting holes. To use it, first cut a 1⁄4 " scrap piece to 51⁄4 x 12". Then, mark a vertical centerline on the jig. Mark and drill centered holes for the pulls on both sides of the vertical line. For most drawers, you will want to locate the holes in the jig so the pulls are centered on the height of the drawer fronts. Then, mark the center of each drawer front on its top edge, align the jig's vertical centerline with it, and drill the holes, as shown in the photo. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
