Fixture steps up to lend a hand

To support workpieces, I made a simple T-shaped fixture that secures to my portable clamping workstation. By adjusting the height of the fixture, I can use it with various tools, such as my tablesaw, radial-arm saw, router table, etc.

To instantly adjust to the proper height for each tool, I added hardboard "steps," as shown above. Each step sets the correct height for a different tool. Now when I need to support a long or wide workpiece, I simply clamp the fixture between the jaws of the workstation, resting it on the appropriate steps, and the height is spot-on every time.
