RunnerDuckBow and Ribbon Maker
Tis' the season to wrap lots of presents. This little bow maker should make the job a little easier.

  • 1/2 to 3/4" thick piece of wood at least 2 1/2" X 18". Pine would do just fine.
  • 12" of 1/8" Dowel
  • Permanent Marker
  • Hole Pattern

Cut a piece of wood 18" long.
Center the pattern www.runnerduck.com/images.bow_maker.gif on the board and drill (16) 5/32" holes 3/4 way through the wood.
Cut four 1/8" diameter dowels 3" long.
From the center out, mark the board every inch. This will help you keep the bows even when you are laying them out.

Bow Maker

That's it, now you are ready to make bows.

Making A Bow:
Place the pegs into your board for the width of the ribbon.
Start laying your ribbon back and forth with equal lengths on each side of the pegs.
After you have layered 6 to 8 pieces of ribbon, cut a notch form each side in the middle of the ribbon.
Tie another piece of ribbon around the layered ribbons.
Remove the ribbon and spread out the bows.

Using the Bow Maker

We hope this works good for you and makes you present wrapping a little easier.
