Library Step Stool Woodworking Plan

28-149778 - Library Step Stool Woodworking Plan
A beautiful accent chair that is American Empire in styling. You can build this beautiful replica of a combination reading chair and library step stool. The chair back is designed to fold over, creating a useful step stool for reaching high shelves. Make the sturdy chair of cherry, mahogany, white oak, or maple and dress it with brass hinges and screws. The masterfully done woodworking plan will make a masterful piece for you to display. This is a blueprint style plan which is heralded by beginners and experts alike as being a pleasure to work from because all parts are printed in full size -- all joinery is shown in actual size, curved workpieces are all in full size, therefore you can measure and trace straight from the drawing if necessary. A Bill of Materials doubles as a cutting list, a detailed exploded diagram and all hardware requirements are listed. Because this is an older plan, a *shopping list* and *cutting diagram* are not provided. The exploded diagram is sufficiently detailed that project specific assembly instructions are not provided.

Finished Dimensions:
Height: 34 inches (86.4 cm)
Width: 17 inches (43.2 cm)

I do not think I could have done it without your plan sheet.

Attached [emailed] are a couple of photos of the Library Chair / Step Stool I built using your plans. As with all chair projects, this one is a little tricky.
