This package offers 21 simple to make whirligigs that are fun to make and can be very profitable. These are especially good as impulse items when displayed with more complicated and expensive whirligigs. All patterns are full size and ready to transfer. Use carbon paper (tracing paper) to transfer patterns to thin hardboard so you have permanent templates that will not distort with use. These whirligigs require very common and readily available materials to keep costs low. No special kits needed. The wooden bodies can be made from 3/4 inch pine with 1/2 inch diameter dowels for wing mounts. Wings and propellers can be made from 3/4 inch pine or aluminum flashing. Pivot tubes are 1/4 outside diameter brass tube (or copper tube). Screws are #6 round head wood screws and washers.
