The once-common Wood Duck was hunted all but extinct by 1900. Today, their population has grown as a result of protection regulations and artificial nesting boxes. One of the most stunning birds in the entire world is the male wood duck. The male Wood Duck's plumage is depicted on the nesting box's decorations. a beautiful addition to any yard.
