Scrollsaw Patterns

We enjoy scroll sawing and fretwork, but these finely cut pieces are often damaged when handling and displaying. We have solved this by mounting the finished pieces in simple frames for display. Beginner skill level.

In this page I share with you a large collection of free scroll saw fretwork patterns. I have carefully scanned them and transformed them into pdf files. The old coach is a picturesque reminder of old times, and certainly forms a very novel subject for the model maker. Here you have the opportunity of completing a very realistic one of the Holyhead Mail which actually ceased running exactly 100 years ago. Project # 206.

If you lack wall space, mount the fretwork scene in a simple stand to display on a table, shelf, mantle, etc. We show a very basic example here, but you may add decorative options as described in the plan.

He is not doing a very good job at keeping the crows away but is doing a better just being a fall decoration.

Get your scroll saw ready and warmed up to stack cut this tree design. While this tree is shown in autumn colors, you could easily change up the paint colors to create a Halloween tree or perhaps a spring tree. Free pattern and instructions at the link.
