I sized the large ribbon so that you can cut 6 from a full sheet of plywood. Each about 23-3/4 x 32 inches. The smaller ribbon is sized 7 x 10-1/2 inches making it a good size to print on regular paper, a good size to post in your window and show your support. I designed this pattern to present the memory of fallen RCMP officers that serve their duty to protect the Canadian public and others around the world. The red represents their coat, and the black with yellow stripe represents their pant leg.
We hope you enjoy our patriotic woodworking pattern! You need a piece of plywood measuring approximately 48 x 74 inches to cut out two sides. Or, cut out one piece of plywood about 72 x 25.25 inches and paint both sides.
Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945, by Joe Rosenthal. It depicts five United States Marines and a United States Navy corpsman raising a U.S. flag atop Mount Suribachi, during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. Our silhouette version is one we hope you will be proud to display. As a special bonus we also include an exclusive pattern for making the flag too! Height is for the silhouette, the flag and pole is higher still.

The stars and stripes add character to this comfortable bench. Easy to build from standard 3/4 and 1-1/2 inch thick lumber. All patterns are drawn full size.
We hope you enjoy our woodworking pattern! You need one piece of plywood measuring 36 x 56 inches, if you want to merge the pattern to make the two separate pieces. Optional, you could add some dimension to the fallen soliders cross by making the cross, helmet, vest, rifle and boots from separate pieces of plywood. For the boots, make two, then put one behind the other. Then position them together like shown in the image. The tags can be made from small pieces of wood and strung together with some rope or chain, like the type you can find at the hardware store that chains the bathtub or sink stopper to a basin. Look in the bathroom or hardware section of your local store. This project would look great in the yard, on the porch, in a store window or anywhere you like! Choose to paint as little or as much detail as you want. Custom sizing available upon request.
