A scarecrow (also called a hay-man) is a decoy or mannequin in the shape of a human, usually dressed in old clothes and placed in gardens to discourage birds from feeding on recently sown seed or growing crops. We enjoy making holiday designs to decorate doors and walls. We developed this layered project to make it easy to paint all the parts separately, then simply glue them together.
