This is a simple to make toy that is great fun. The blade assembly is placed in the launcher - the end of an 18 inch piece of strong twine is inserted in the blade dowel and the string is wound around the dowel by turning the blades clockwise. Hold the launcher away from you face and give the twine a sharp pull. The helicopter will leave the launcher and fly up, up and away!This is a 1 page pattern. Groupings may also be made without any platform or connection between the pieces. Set these Ducks on a shelf or table as a grouping and they will be quite effective. Place larger more detailed pieces to the front and smaller less detailed pieces toward the rear. You may also cut accessories such as a Cat-o-nine-tail or other plant, simple rock, log, etc. to add to the grouping. Cut these from 3/4 inch stock.
