The humblest boat in the collection is definitely boat number 11 on plate 48, the Ekstock. This boat is also the only one with a flat bottom, flat sides and flat transoms. Ekstock is Swedish for punt, literally oak log. So the boat is a traditional Scandinavian punt.

A fin-tailed 15 foot outboard runabout.
This is a very nice but simple skiff, made out of two sheets of 1/4 inches or 3/8 inches plywood. This skiff is heavily based on my Portuquese Style Dinghy. I myself, and several others who have built the dinghy have been satisfied with her, so why not make a slightly larger version?
This boat makes a stable fishing platform, and its big cockpit makes it safe for family boating.
