The Bruno Jura hound is a domestic dog, developed in the Middle Ages for hunting in the Jura Mountains on the Swiss-French border. The Bully Kutta (or Pakistani Mastiff or simply Bully or Indian Alangu Mastiff) is a descendant of the extinct Alaunt that originated from the Sindh and Punjab regions of present day Pakistan, where they were the most common guard-dog. The Bully can be found occasionally in India. The word Bully derives from the English word Bull, because of its resemblance to the Bulldog, while the word Kutta means dog in South-Asian languages. The Border Terrier is a small, rough-coated breed of dog of the terrier group. Originally bred as fox and vermin hunters, Border Terriers share ancestry with Dandie Dinmont Terriers, Patterdale terriers and Bedlington Terriers.
