Weathervanes are very popular as wall decorations and as free standing decorations when added to a dowel and base. We try to increase the appeal by using weathervanes as racks for hats, pot, holders, keys, dish towels, cups, etc. by adding pegs, cup hooks or L-hooks to the arrow or spaced around the Rooster body.

This design features a half pattern that you print out and then flip over to get both parts of the pattern! The two pages fit together at the small circles to form the left side of the wreath and then the joined patterns are flipped over to form the right side of the wreath. The results will be a large heart with 4 stars and 10 stripes. Beginner skill level.

We enjoy providing birds with good homes, but we dislike cleaning out bird houses every spring. We developed our Quick & Easy Birdhouses as a way to make maintenance much easier. The outside shell of the house is made of disposable materials and the wooden ends are reused the next year. Some quick work with a hammer or stapler and these houses are like new! Be sure to print all parts and join together to get the full size pattern. Resize to suit your needs. Beginner skill level.
The project shows the figure mounted in a two-post sign. We also include the pattern merged onto one page that you can use as a guide to piece together your pages. Its also suitable for an intarsia project. This project does not include instructions for the posts as that is a simple project consisting of three posts; two in the ground and one spanning across the top.
