Zero in on one key feature of this chair: It has just two legs. And where those legs meet the rockers, it appears the joint would snap the moment an adult sat down. But David Dundas of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia designed this chair with epoxied loose-tenon joints and reinforcing splines that make it stronger than its light appearance suggests.
