We used birch and birch plywood, but you can use a wood of your choice. A full materials and supplies list is included with the plan.

The #31 series plans (plans that start with 31- ) are available in either paper or PDF download. This is a project plan that you can download immediately after your purchase. If you want the paper plan mailed to you, choose that option instead. PDF plans cheaper than the paper plans in this series plus you save the shipping cost and delivery time! This project plan has full color pages with scaled templates that you can print onto 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper. It will be just like you are reading the magazine article itself! All building instructions and finishing guidelines included.
This pine bench is decorated with heart and wheat cut outs. As an option you could leave that out or pattern your own design. The bench is 36 inches long. The narrow design is ideal for a hall or entryway. The seat is hinged to allow for storage underneath.
The flying angels and peace dove really make this project stand out. The hinged top will provide quick access to a storage compartment. The narrow 9 inch deep size fits in most entryways. It looks beautiful in oak with figures cut from 1/4 inch thick maple. This woodworking plan provides full size illustrations.
