One toad can eat hundreds of insects per night, but toads need to be protected from predators and the sun during the day. Although we designed these toad houses as a decorative accent to your garden, they truly are functional.

They may not be the Prince bringing you flowers, but they are cute enough to kiss, aren’t they? Wire wraps around each frog’s outstretched arms to hold a 5 to 6 inch diameter clay flower pot. And so simple to make.

This trio of lily pads showcases even those larger, heavier plants. Keeps plants off the ground for better window light, if placed indoors, and makes plants easier to reach for watering and pruning. The two frogs lend both colour and personality.

Really simple to make. There was no need for further wood finish because we utilised 1x8-inch green-treated pine. The length of the turtle is about 18 inches. The paper plans include full-size drawings of the pattern parts.
