Positioned in your hallway or entry these butler tables hold a plant or holiday treats to welcoming guests. The over the head platter design keeps the platter safely out of the traffic area. A frosted tip bulb on the candlestick can add a warm holiday accent. This woodworking plan provides full size illustrations, exploded view diagrams and instructions to make the projects shown.

At six feet tall, James the Butler is just about as realistic as you could want! He is made mostly from a piece of 2x12 with some 3/4 inch thick wood pieces for the arms and other features. His arms can hold a favourite serving tray.
A maid, a butler, and a chef are three additional excellent post projects to construct using bodies with a 4 inch diameter for landscape posts. All three projects have arms that can accommodate a tray containing a beverage or a snack.
Birdhouses with personality! By adding the face details to the front of the house these birdhouses become enchanting tree sculptures. Plan includes full size illustrations for both projects as shown. Make from 3/4 inch thick pine or cedar.
