04-FS-191 - 1930 Model A Ford Sport Couple Antique Car Woodworking Plan. - Paper plan
This 1930 Model A Ford Automobile woodworking design features full-size plans and in-depth images, text, and sketches. A functional rumble seat and a trunk are included in this classic 1930 Ford Model A woodworking plan. It adheres to our quite well-liked Duesenberg woodworking plan. The Ford design is intended for experienced to expert woodworkers. Although turned parts might be replaced with more straightforward purchased parts, some lathe work was necessary. Ten 11 x 17-inch sheets with more than 125 images, sketches, patterns, and text provide a full explanation of the patterns and description. Every pattern is full size. Make copies of the pattern, cut them out, and then apply them to stock to be cut. A lot of fine detail, including actual wheels with 30 spokes each wheel. Not for kiddie play, but rather for decoration in a home office or mantel. Two images of licence plates, a little image of the Ford logo, seat patterns for the cab and under the rumble seat door, a simple dash, and a steering wheel are all included. Additional wheels can be added over the back bumper or to the fender wells. Except for two screws holding the car to the display board and tiny brads for the lug nuts on the wheels, almost all of the parts are made of wood (see wheel image). The display board has an explanation plaque up front and a "Route 66" sign that mimics an actual sign from the well-known US highway in the Southwest. Numerous choices throughout.
