Venice Bird Cage Woodworking Pattern

An exquisite all wood bird cage for birds or for decoration. Its easier to build than might appear. Basically built like stacked picture frames interconnected with 1/8 inch diameter wood dowels forming the walls. The two upper rounded walls are formed from 1/8 inch basket reed. Instructions outline building a swing, perches and a bottom drawer for easy cage cleaning. Venetian balcony windows, Italian cedars and turned accents can be added to create an ambiance like the Grand Canal of Venice. It is an alluring center piece for a table or suspend from the ceiling with brass chains.
